With the Third Season of Blood Bowl on the horizon, the Brionne Barons are ready to charge into action. Designed as a high-risk, high-reward team, their roster is built around a combination of valiant knights and their ever-loyal squires.
⚔️ Meet the Positionals
- Grail Knights – Your Blitzers and Blockers. They come with Block, Dauntless, and the brand new Steady Footing skill (stay standing on a roll of 6 when knocked down). With Armour 10+ and Movement 7, they’re as tough as they are mobile.
- Knight Catchers – Fast, nimble, and fearless. They have Catch and Nerves of Steel, meaning they ignore Tackle Zones when receiving passes. Perfect for running in touchdowns once the front line breaks.
- Knight Throwers – Sporting Pass and Nerves of Steel, these players are cool under pressure and deliver accurate passes even when surrounded. With a 3+ PA, they bring some much-needed consistency to risky throws.
- Squires – Humble but essential. These linemen have Wrestle, letting them bring down opposing players without causing a turnover. Think of them as the unsung heroes who polish armour, carry water, and dive at the feet of trolls.
“We wanted each Knight to excel in a different role while keeping that knightly flair,” said Jay from the rules team. “Their Dauntless trait is a nod to their questing spirit – always willing to face a mightier foe head-on.”
No Big Guy joins this roster – after all, a true Bretonnian knight needs no ogre to fight his battles. Just a sword, a squire, and perhaps a lucky horseshoe (not included).

Bretonnian teams thrive on pressure. Their playstyle rewards bold charges, heroic plays, and a bit of luck from the Lady. Blitz through enemy lines with Grail Knights, pass with precision through the Knight Throwers, and sprint to victory with the Catchers.
For Blood Bowl veterans, the Brionne Barons offer a refreshing alternative to brute force bash teams, while newcomers can enjoy a thematic, cinematic team that feels like a crusade every game.
