In one of the strangest transactions of the season, the Mordheim Manglers announced the signing of ogre Grugg “Rockhead,” formerly of the Karak Krushers. However, there’s a small problem: Grugg still doesn’t realize he’s changed teams.
According to sources, the transfer was completed during halftime of a match. While the ogre was busy tying his boots (a process that, according to his coach, can take up to half an hour), the management of both teams signed the agreement. When Grugg returned to the field, he simply continued smashing players… unaware that he was now supposed to be attacking his former teammates.
The referee stopped the game after 15 minutes of absolute chaos. When the Manglers’ coach explained the situation to Grugg, the ogre just scratched his head and asked, “But I still get to hit the small ones, right?”
The team is expected to give him a helmet with the new logo, though the trainers warn it could take him several weeks to process the information.
