Nuffle has been generous this summer. Games Workshop dropped a wave of Blood Bowl reveals at their Big Summer Preview — and there’s something here for coaches across the spectrum, from league veterans to those who’ve been waiting years to get Morg ‘n’ Thorg on the table without selling a kidney.
Morg ‘n’ Thorg — Finally in Plastic
The legend himself is getting a plastic kit for the first time. Morg ‘n’ Thorg needs no introduction: an all-time giant of the sport, capable of dismantling cages, trampling anything in his path, and finishing the job by hurling a teammate directly into the end zone. Over his career he’s played for almost every team — the exception being Undead sides, which he’s avoided ever since a Khemrian Mummy tried to assassinate him. The new kit reflects that history with three uniform options: Reikland Reavers (his Imperial years), Gouged Eye (his Badlands stint), and Chaos All-Stars (the early Chaos era).
New Plastic Big Guys
Two more plastic kits join the lineup. The Minotaur brings serious hitting power to Chaos Chosen, Chaos Dwarf, and Chaos Renegade teams, with Unchannelled Fury and Frenzy making it a wrecking ball on the pitch. Customisation options include a choice of heads, shoulder pads, loincloths, and optional mutations — crab claws, a tentacle, and two different tails.
Skaven, Underworld Denizens, and Chaos Renegade coaches also get a new Rat Ogre, with Movement 6, Strength 5, and Mighty Blow. The kit offers three heads and two prehensile tails. Efficient, violent, and deeply unsettling — just how the fans like it.
Blood Bowl Sevens
Blood Bowl Sevens is the small-format variant with seven players per side — faster and every bit as brutal as the full game, designed for lunchtime leagues or quick play at your club. Rules are available in Spike! Journal, and a dedicated pitch is available for the format.
