Not a mini, not a die, not even a sad goblin…

NuffleZone.com – Editorial from the dugout
Games Workshop’s Summer Warhammer Preview delivered a lot: Chaos Dwarfs, more Marines, Votann reinforcements, Black Library epics…
But Blood Bowl?
🦗 [cricket sounds]
Not a single mention.
No teaser.
No silhouette.
Not even a blood-splattered football emoji.
🧹 Where was our reveal?
We were ready:
- Leagues on standby.
- Goblins rubbing their hands.
- Vampires dreaming of new plastic.
- Fans sharpening their memes…
But no.
While other games got new models, new books, new rules — we got left on the sideline. Literally.
🧛 But what about the rumored new edition?
Yes, it’s still floating around (like a badly regenerated zombie):
- Possibly announced at the Tacoma Open
- Launch expected in September or October
- New rules? New teams? We can hope…
But until we see a halfling in glorious 3D render… it’s all dreams and desperate prayers to Nuffle.
🤷 So what now?
We do what we always do:
✅ Keep playing
✅ Host tournaments
✅ Paint our minis (badly, in most cases)
✅ Re-read the May FAQs again
✅ Complain… lovingly
🏁 Bottom line?
We love you, Games Workshop. But throw us a bone.
A teaser. A clue. A single official meme, even.
Blood Bowl fans don’t ask for much — just some carnage, controversy, and a glorious new edition to make us cry “TOUCHDOWN!” through happy sobs.
Until then, we wait.
On the bench.
With hope.
🧼 And maybe a bribe ready, just in case.
