Team Development
Hobgoblin
Hobgoblins are very similar to human linemen—they don’t excel at anything, but with one or two skills, they can perform any role fairly effectively. In leagues, a great option is to choose a random skill, and if it’s not useful, you can fire them. Without a specific role but with general utility, the best skills are Block/Wrestle and Tackle, to handle ball pickup, Sure Hands is great since they have the best agility in the team, and Strip Ball to steal from opponents. Don’t forget Dirty Player for a dedicated fouling specialist.
As for secondary skills, the most useful ones are Dodge, Guard, Juggernaut, and Sneaky Git.
Sneaky Stabba
The biggest drawback of stabbers is that the skills that best fit their role, Multiple Block and Dodge, are secondary, so if you don’t want to wait to accumulate more experience points, the most efficient choice is to go for Block/Wrestle.
Another very useful secondary skill is Guard, which allows you to stab and, even if you don’t break armor, still provide support for the following blocks.
Chaos Dwarf
Similar to their dwarf cousins, Chaos Dwarfs should prioritize Guard to overcome or at least match strength during blocks. The difference is that Chaos Dwarfs don’t have Tackle, so if you expect to face teams with Dodge, you should add this skill to one of them. Other great options are Mighty Blow and Stand Firm.
As a secondary skill, the best mutation is Claw to deal with tougher opponents.
FlameSmith
Although Block is always worth considering, since they come with Brawler by default, you can first opt for Pro, allowing you to reroll both when blocking (in case of both down) and using their Fire Breath skill. Later, the most interesting skills are the aforementioned Block, Guard, and Stand Firm.
Bull Centaur
Bull Centaurs already have good strength and mobility—they just need more reliability. How can we achieve that? Well, let’s not get too creative: Block is key. For later advancements, you should consider Mighty Blow, Guard, and Tackle.
It’s tempting to think about making a Bull Centaur a Ball Carrier, and it’s feasible, but it will cost many points since Agility is a secondary skill category. If you go for it, the skills you should choose are Sure Hands and Dodge.
If you want to improve your dodge chances without spending so many points on Dodge (a secondary skill), you could opt for Break Tackle.
Minotaur
If you include the Minotaur on your team, it’s because you want them to be responsible for most blitzes, so Juggernaut is the most effective choice, which also helps to push opponents off the pitch. Stand Firm and Guard are also very useful, though more for positional play.
As a secondary skill, the safest option is Block. If you’re aiming for lethality and facing tough opponents, the best alternative is to give them Claw, turning them into a killing machine. Of the other mutations, Tentacles can be great for preventing opponents in contact with the Minotaur from escaping.

Chaos Dwarves are the twisted descendants of dwarven explorers who have been terribly affected by the forces of Chaos, turning them into evil and self-centered creatures. However, in one respect they haven’t changed at all: they still love to play Blood Bowl! Chaos Dwarves are not very numerous and make great use of the elusive Hobgoblin slaves to perform all sorts of tasks, including playing on their Blood Bowl teams.
Chaos Dwarves Blood Bowl Team Summary :
The Chaos Dwarves, while preferring the run game like their counterparts, the Dwarves, have a somewhat different approach in the way they execute it. They have stronger players than the Dwarves and some much less skilled, fragile and cheaper players as well. This mix makes them more like the Undead, although they have more starting skills and more players with high armor as well. Centaur Bulls are one of the best players in the game, strong, with great armor and can move a good distance. This makes them great Blitzers, the Minotaur is also great player doing Blitz, both able to make more space to move a cage and in attacking the opposing team. The Hobgoblins, cheap and somewhat expendable, are great at carrying the ball, as well as fouling, and round out the team nicely.
The drawbacks of Chaos Dwarves are that Hobgoblins are fragile and start with no skills, Centaurs don’t start with any blocking skills and have poor agility, Chaos Dwarves themselves are slow and have poor agility, and the Minotaur can be unpredictable and unreliable. In addition, their Second Chances are very expensive and, having no ball handling skills, you won’t want to do more than pick it up and hopefully run the entire field with that same player to score. If you find yourself needing to start doing a lot of dribbling or passing, then you’re going to end up in trouble.
I think they are a great team for a starter, as they have a good mix of players who can distribute and receive. They can be somewhat forgiving of mistakes, the Centaurs usually have blocking in their favor, the Dwarves have blocking and tackling and the Hobgoblins can move the ball if you have Second Chances on hand.
Comments:
Jim: “Greetings, sports fans! Excellent stormy night to talk about Chaos Dwarves, right Bob?”
Bob: “M’love storms, Jim!”
Jim: “Chaos Dwarves are Dwarves corrupted by chaos and use Hobogoblins in their equipment. They are just as tough as normal Dwarves.”
Bob: “They are Dwarves who hate Dwarves.”
Jim: “They can add Centaurs and Minotaurs to their team which gives them a lot of strength among their ranks. Hobgoblins are all about “running” and “moving the ball” as best they can. Each team worships a Chaos god which favors or disfavors them depending on the mood of said god.”
Bob: “I’ve never met any Chaos gods, Jim.”
Jim: “Neither have I, Bob, and I hope I don’t.”

¡ Look for other teams to play Blood Bowl !
The FlameSmith doesn’t have Iron Hard Skin.
Also there is a small typo to Sneaky Stabba name.
And I think it would be appropriate to put the new team picture now that it’s out rather than keeping the old one.
Sorry about that, thanks for letting us know.
No Problem.
Thanks for fixing it quickly 🙂
Flamesmith also doesn’t have Wrestle. The tactic section mentions that they have this (it may have been an earlier version before release)
Thanks for the warning!
Hi, Chaos Dwarf doesn`t have World Edge Superleague anymore.
Also some Starplayers are no longer avalible to them, like Rumbelow Sheepskin. I think Scyla is now Favored of Khorne, so also not for the Hashut Followers
